I came out of my office this week and noticed the Jones Falls with an interesting ripple pattern on it. I got in my car, turned it around, and almost drove away - but then I realized the photo opportunity. The reflection on the water is of what I call the ugliest parking garage ever built. It is abstract on its own, but ugly. Its reflection, its pattern added with the ripples on the water make a beautiful pattern though and I can appreciate that. The color of the water, the dash of leaves floating just gave it a little more depth. I'm glad I stopped to take this photo because the pattern on the water hasn't repeated despite the wind this week. Funny thing is this would have been a great photo for last week's challenge in reflections, but it works for abstract. Glad I didn't pass it up.
