“ Taken for Granted ”
In so many parts of this world we take electricity for granted, and specifically electric lighting. Then the lights go out and we struggle in the dark. Inspired by the extra credit of only one light source I took this photo of my bedside lamp, but did so with a kaleidoscope lens for a flare of artistry. It reminds me of when the lights come back on, how you can have double or triple vision as your eyes adjust to the brightness once again and you struggle for focus.
