I couldn't help but think of this week's subject "Depth of Field" as a metaphor for a life perspective. I've been blessed to have traveled most of the United States before I was 25, but then I stopped traveling. Only recently have I been able to travel again, now mostly overseas.
My photo shows my travel board (something my grandmother started) and now I keep to remember her. To me this photo shows my home country, but more than that it reminds me that I must remember my neighbors around the world and keep some depth in my thinking about national and world problems.
