“ Mid-Century Modern Staircase ” I really love architecture and unfortunately had little opportunity to go some place with really interesting buildings. I did however get to go to my local county government building for the first time and noticed this staircase. It's seriously the classic MCM 1960s staircase. The blue and brown paint - the tiles, and the tinted glass under the rails. It totally reminded me of the courthouse my mom worked in in the 1980s. Brought back memories

“Original Squared ” This week I did double the original work for the challenge. First I decided I would create my own artwork in complementary colors and then I photographed it. My first thought was to just highlight two colors, but then I really thought about doing primary and secondary colors in a modern, mid-century style.
